This workshop is designed to give you a full 90 minutes of deep, uninterrupted relaxation. We understand the difficulty that often comes with truly relaxing or sitting still for a meditation. When including the beautiful music and vibrations that come with incorporating the crystal bowls into your practice, it helps to settle and focus the mind in a unique and effective way. You can be snuggled in blankets on your mat for the full 90 minutes (it's ok if you fall asleep!) or stay in a seated position through practice. Whatever helps you feel prepared for 90 minutes of rest is where we want you to be!
There are lot of amazing benefits from immersing yourself in a sound bath experience but, above anything else, our goal is that we provide a safe and healing space for you at Yoga Hive! We believe our world needs all the healing energy it can receive right now and, since each one of us make up a piece of the world, we believe our collective energy is the best way to share it with the universe. After meeting with Meghan and discussing plans for the workshop, it was clear that our visions lined up perfectly!
What should I bring?
Due to Covid, we no longer offer props in the studio! Please make sure to bring your own mat and anything else needed to stay comfortable over the 90 minute workshop. This could include: blocks and a bolster to prop up under your legs or back, a blanket (or two!) to stay comfy and warm, or a meditation cushion if you plan on being in a seated position instead of lying on your back.
What else I should know?
Class will begin on the exact time shown on the schedule! It is of great importance to us that no one is disturbed once getting settled on their mat so, out of respect for the money and time invested by Meghan, Byron, and our fellow yogi attendees, latecomers will be turned away.
