Meet Emma Ek 🌿 you can find her at our Kalispell location Mondays & Wednesdays at 12pm 🐝
Emma is a certified 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) as well a Certified Reiki Master. In 2013 Emma fell in love with the practice of yoga while she was a “living yoga trainee (LYT)” at Yogaville, an Integral Yoga ashram in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. In 2015 Emma received her teaching certification from Axis Yoga Teacher Trainings in Denver, CO with an emphasis on Hatha yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Trauma-sensitive yoga and Ayurveda. That same year Emma moved to Macedonia as a Peace Corps Volunteer where she taught weekly yoga classes in the local language to both adults and kids. Emma teaches well rounded yoga flows that incorporate flexibility and strength + functional movement training with a focus on alignment, physical and energetic anatomy, breath work, and meditation.
Emma and her husband created@heydayhomestead - a microgreens farm right here in the valley! They grow seasonal veggies, herbs, and flowers and have a flock of laying hens which supply their farm and customers with eggs. You can find them at the Kalispell farmers market or the Bigfork village market! 🌱
Meet Holly Wielkoszewski! She teaches the Thursday 12 pm class in Kalispell! 🐝
Holly discovered hot vinyasa flow over a decade ago and came to love yoga as a way to balance long-distance running and relieve stress. After seeing how yoga transformed her own journey, she decided to attend yoga teacher training in order to help others on their own journey. Holly's classes are grounded in breath, movement, alignment, and a respect for one's own body. In addition to teaching yoga, Holly works as a brand storyteller, helping small businesses connect and communicate more effectively with web & digital content. She and her husband are building an off-grid homestead outside of Bigfork, Montana!
Meet our new teacher Erica! She'll be taking over the Friday 9 am & 12pm classes in Whitefish 🐝
Erica was born in upstate New York and moved to Montana 7 years ago by accident! She fell in love with the area and her, now, husband a native Montanan. Today, they're settled with their two dogs and a tiny home on 30 acres. Erica first came across yoga in High school when a ski coach introduced it as another form of exercise/stretching to stay in shape for skiing. But it didn't quite catch her attention until college, after a knee injury. Once the knee was healed, Erica's yoga practice stopped again (!) and it wasn't until after Massage Therapy School, she began a more consistent home practice, seeing the benefits of yoga go well beyond stretching and injury rehab. Yoga helped Erica so much that she took her yoga teacher training in 2018 with Yoga Hive, and has been teaching yoga ever since!
This week's teacher spotlight is Lune! You can find her at our Kalispell location:
