You only need two hours to know how to make your mala, the rest of the time is to complete your mala!
Our Time Together
Why create a mala?
You want to create something sacred just for yourself. OR You want to give gifts that are made by you with intention and love. Yay! It’s so rewarding, so fun, and a beautiful time to be with friends for the evening!
Arrive and let the fun begin!
How we start:
Choose your main mala beads, each gemstone bag is labeled with the meaning of the gemstones. You may be attracted to color, texture, or the intention itself! Next you’ll choose accent beads and spacers – only if it feels right to you! I will be there to help you with this very fun, sometimes onerous part!
Next up:
Stringing the beads, tying the knots, adding the guru bead and finally the tassel! You will have your individual space to lay out your beads and can work at your pace. I have a YouTube video for any directions you may need if you don’t get your mala completed. I promise, you can do this! You may even get hooked on it!
During our time together:
I’ll talk about a practice with your mala for prayer, affirmations, or meditation. You’ll leave with a printed sheet on caring for, using, and wearing your mala. We’ll have a short meditation with our mala (no matter where you are in the process).
Leave with a beautiful Mala:
You've breathed in the intention to every knot. Experience JOY, knowing that you've met new people, created new things, and had the opportunity to spend an evening in peace & harmony.
